My Soul Say Yes   Galatians 2:20 (NIV)   "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." "The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."   Galatians 2:20 speaks to the fundamental change that occurs in the life of a believer. It's a recognition that our old self, characterized by sin and selfishness, was crucified with Christ on the cross. The verse speaks Through the act of dying to our old way of life, and a new life begins, a life where Christ dwells within us through the Holy Spirit.   The day my soul said yes to Christ signify a deep affirmation of a life lived in faith and dependence on Christ. It was an acknowledgment that my existence, and purpose, and my identity was now rooted in my relationship with Jesus Christ. I live not by my own strength or desires, but by faith in the Son of God, who loved me sacrificially.   I wrote this poem expressing my commi...

Embracing Our Divine Identity

Embracing Our Divine Identity 1 John 3:1(NIV) See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. The apostle John writes, In 1 John 3:1, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" These words echo with profound significance, inviting us to embrace our identity as beloved children of God. To be called a child of God is to be enveloped in the boundless love of the Father. It is a love that surpasses understanding, a love that is freely given, not earned. God's love is not measured by our worthiness but by His grace, which he lavishes upon us abundantly. Our Understanding of ourselves as children of God shapes how we view ourselves and our relationship with Him. We are not merely servants or subjects; we are cherished sons and daughters, heirs to the promi...

Overcoming Inadequacy Through Divine Empowerment

Overcoming Inadequacy Through Divine Empowerment Exodus 4:10-12 (NIV) 10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” When God called Moses to go before Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses hesitated. In his humility and human frailty, he felt inadequate for the task. He perceives himself as lacking the eloquence needed to address Pharaoh and lead a nation. But God's response unveils a profound truth about overcoming our inadequacy. God's reply to Moses was not to deny his shortcomings or to minimize it. Moses felt that he could not communicate the message well. He may even have had a speech impediment. But ...
